俞老師原籍馬來西亞，第三代華僑，祖籍福建古田。自幼在基督化家庭長大、活躍於馬來西亞砂勞越衛理公會主日學及青少年團契。

1990年赴澳大利亞留學，於墨爾本大學修讀文學學士，主修猶太研究與心理學 。畢業後進入「悉尼宣教聖經學院」（Sydney Missionary & Bible College）修讀「澳洲神學院」（Australian College of Theology） 之神學學士。

1996年在墨爾本衛理公會牧會，同時在Ridley神學院修讀神學碩士，因論文的第一章深獲好評而被墨大直接收納為博士研究生，獲得墨大及澳洲教育部頒發「澳大利亞研究生獎」（Australian Postgraduate Awards），2007年於墨爾本大學猶太研究系完成哲學博士學位。2008年在墨爾本聖公會被按立為牧師。2009年受澳洲神學協會邀請與澳洲多位頂尖的新約教授及Macquarie University的教授一同撰寫澳洲神學協會第一本新約導論教科書，The Content & Setting of the Gospel Tradition.

1998年開始參與維省聖經學院中文部（現墨爾本神學院）的教學等服侍，前後擔任過實習指導及教務指導。

1992 年結婚，育有一男一女。2009隨同丈夫劉利宇牧師以宣教士身分赴西班牙國際歐華神學院執教並參與歐洲華人教會的宣教事工，常到歐洲各國講道及帶領聚會。2012－2015年擔任歐華神學院的教務主任及新約副教授。2016年回到墨爾本神學院，擔任中文網絡神學課程策劃主管，並於聖公會的Ridley神學院，衛理公會的Logos神學院及悉尼的澳洲神學院擔任客座講師。

俞老師的研究興趣及著作包括： 新約研究 、釋經法、兩約之間、門徒訓練、希臘猶太文化對比及中西文化對照等。
